	Materials: No text book, Teacher’s handouts
	Lesson content :
	I always have trouble speaking with the staff while shopping, taking a taxi, or at
	the cleaners. I’m learning useful expressions for there situations, and sometimes
	do Role Plays with my teacher.


	Case 2 Name: Kevin
	Place: Café
	Purpose: To pass Japanese Language Proficiency Test level 3
	Materials: Practice test, Exercise book
	Lesson content: I have trouble understanding grammar, so I’m learning grammar
	during the lesson once a week. I also want the teacher to check my homework,
	explain idioms usage, or the difference between synonyms.


	Case 3 Name: Alex
	Place: My office
	Purpose: To read Japanese articles
	Materials: Newspaper
	Lesson content: I’m reading articles in the newspaper and on the web site to
	understand real Japanese and culture. During the lesson, I read these articles
	and talk with my teacher. It brings about improvement of my conversation skills.
